The ES 100 provides the ability to set up company events and display them on the extranet, as well as the company website if the integration is already in place. This feature will enable you to create company wide calendar events. Click Company tab, click Extranet Setup, click Team Calendar.
Creating an Event:
To create a company event, click Company Tab, click Extranet Setup, and click Team Calendar.
A list of existing events that you have scheduled will appear. To create an event, click Create Event.
Title: Enter the title of the event.
Location: From the dropdown menu, select the location of the event. The event can be a National Call, National Event, or State Specific. Select the appropriate location from the drop down menu.
Date: Enter the appropriate start date for the event that you would like displayed.
Time: Enter the appropriate start time for the event that you would like displayed.
Reoccurring: From the dropdown menu, select the frequency option of Single, Weekly, or Monthly for the event recurrence.
Phone: Enter appropriate contact phone number (if applicable)
Address: Enter appropriate address (if applicable)
Description: Enter appropriate description (if applicable)
Display on Extranet: Select this checkbox if you would like to display this event on the extranet.
Display on Website: Select this checkbox if you would like to display this event on the company website. Please note that additional programming may be required in order to display on the company website.
Click Save.
Calendar Settings:
You have the ability control the display of your expired events through your calendar settings option.
To set your calendar settings, click Company Tab, click Extranet Setup, click Team Calendar, and click Calendar Settings.
From the dropdown menu, select either Yes or No to control the display of expired events.
Display on Extranet:
To view your events on the back office extranet, click on the Calendar tab.
Events will be displayed in the following order:
1. National Calls
2. National Events
3. State Events
National Calls
On the left column, if the event is a National Call, the event date/frequency will appear in BOLD Below the date; the time will appear (if applicable).
On the right column, the Event name will appear in BOLD. Below the event name, the description and pertinent event information will appear.
National Events
On the left column, if the event is a National Event, the event date/frequency will appear in BOLD Below the date, the time will appear (if applicable).
On the right column, the Event name will appear in BOLD. Below the event name, the description and pertinent event information will appear.
State Events
On the left column, if the event is a State Event, the event date/frequency will appear in BOLD. Below the date, the time will appear (if applicable).
On the right column, the Event name will appear in BOLD. Below the event name, the description and pertinent event information will appear.
Display on Website:
Your application will need to be set up for the events to be displayed in the company website. Events will be displayed in the same format as the Back Office Extranet. Please contact IDSTC for additional information.
Calendar Settings:
You have the ability define if you would like to display expired events. To enable to disable the ability to view expired events, click the Company tab, click Extranet Setup, click Team Calendar, click Calendar Settings.
From the dropdown, select Yes or No to display expired events. Click Save.
