This function places a large “M” on the distributor profile screen.  The M has no effect on any functions in the system.  It is used as an indicator on the profile screen and reports.  This function can assist in distributor relationship management.  For example, if a distributor’s conduct is unprofessional when corresponding with support staff, you can mark the distributor’s profile screen. If the distributor calls in, the mark will indicate to your staff there is an outstanding issue.

To Mark a distributor’s profile screen, from the screen click Admin, click Mark.  A dialog box will appear to confirm your action, click OK. To unmark a distributor click Admin, click Unmark. Click OK in the dialog box.

Marking the Distributor profile as a bad address will mark it with a small “x” next to the address on the distributor profile screen. This should be utilized when mail to the distributor is returned by the post office.  If the distributor calls in, the mark will indicate to your staff that they need to get a good address.
