Community Email Interface

The community email interface has been redesigned so that it would be easier to access and view different areas of the email interface.  The new interface can be accessed by going to Company>Community Emails.

This interface will display all emails that were created or sent within the last sixty days.  Older emails if created and not sent will not be visible and cannot be accessed.  Below is a list of the new columns and buttons along with their functions.

Date Created – Date that the email run was first created.

Subject – This is the subject for the email.  This is clickable and will allow the user to edit the email content.  If the email has already been sent, the user will not be able to edit, they will only be able to view the email content.

Type – This will display the audience for this email – Distributor or Customer.

Criteria – This will be the area in which you can determine the recipients of the email run.  The criteria can be edited until the email has been sent.  Once sent, you will only be able to view the criteria.

NOTE: The selection of the Type Distributor will give the user access to the following selections.

Country – USA, Canada, All

Language – All, English

Autoship Status – Ignore, Has Active Autoship, Does not have active autoship.

Distributor Ranks

Status Types

Recipients – This will allow the user to see the recipient list for the email based on the criteria they have selected.

Date Scheduled – This will have a value if the run was scheduled to go out at a specific time.  This value will be editable until the email run is sent.  Please keep in mind that the email job runs every 15 minutes, this will mean that the job may send the email out several minutes after the scheduled time.

Date Sent – This will display the date time that the email was sent.  “Send Now” will appear so that the user can send any emails that have not been previously sent.

Create New – This will copy the email template and put it into a new run.  It will not select the criteria nor set the schedule date.  It will only copy the HTML into the new run.

New – This is to create a new email without copying any of the values from a previous run.

All emails will need to have a FROM email address and a Subject in order for the system to send the email.
